Cassidy had her Field Trip to the Capital building and Impressions 5 in Lansing and of course I being so lucky got to go along. (my third time on this trip due to my other two children doing the same) lol We had a good day but were VERY tired!

The month of May has been very busey! My youngest had a Birthday. Cassidy is a old 10~years of age. boo hoo hoo

Pretty coool thing happend! A couple of years ago, my dad had went to an Estate sale with my great Aunt and Uncle. He found this big buffet type piece of furniture and thought maybe I would like it. He pulled into my driveway saying "I picked something up for you but you may not like it" As soon as I had seen It I knew I loved it! We brought the huge massive thing into the house and I have kept it in several rooms in my house sence. ( I have a problem with changing things around all of the time)

About a year after I got the thing, I opend a drawer to start re-painting it and an old news paper was down under the drawer, It was dated exactly 100 years prior. NOW, just a couple of months ago.... shoved up under some strange place I found an envolope addressed to a relative of mine that my father knows of but I have never met. Very Odd!

All this let to me finding out that this piece of furniture was onec owned by my great grandmothers parents. And was also in the Farm house my grandmother grew up in.HOW COOL is THAT? It found it's way back to someone in our family and best of all ME.

Some things are just meant to be I guess!

I LOVE IT even more now! :O)

(please dont mind the missing trim under the buffet, I havent put it back up sence the tile was laid)

Also I wanted to throw out there, Does anyone make these old Yo Yo quilts anymore? I'm working on one little by little and would like to see others.

The start.....

Ahhhh, I love the site of new things growing. Here is the start of something good. I can't wait to get these in the ground.

I've been a stray from Blog land for so long I dont recall how to do everything. Not that I knew to begin with.

Jimmy and I went to Baltimore last week for his work and I got to go along. This is the boat that he had to work with. The people that purchased the boat are from Arguntina and were VERY nice. Although everyone spoke Spanish cept I...... so I just smiled a lot. (dork)

The marina was beautiful in the morning. Even more so after stopping off to Star Bucks!

OH and the Drama.....

Jimmy sent me for a manicure and I forgot my ring that his mom sent me from New York, I almost started crying! I cant believe I did that. Thank GOD they saved it for me. I love honest people!!!

We also went to the aquarium and watched the Dolphin show. Every single time one of those cute Dolphins would jump into the air my eyes would start to tear up, lol They were sooooo CUTE!

I even finnished a book, "Prayers for Sale"

Now back home and need to get to work on the yard. My plan this year is to garden like a crazy women. :)
